FlyCheap.com is one of the leading online flight location and booking services in the US. As part of a complete brand overhaul, FlyCheap's owner, TravelCo, decided to rebuild its consumer website. Branding professionals, Beyond Blue, asked Celerity Media to provide copywriting for the entire site.
The project involved creating a combination of simple marketing messages and comprehensive but easy-to-understand navigation, help and background texts.
Over a three-week period, Celerity Media worked intensively with the client, the site designers and Beyond Blue to create a site that would enthuse and reassure potential customers.
The result appeals both to users who are familiar with buying airline tickets online, and also to those who are more wary of the process. An important element of the copy was the Help section, which explains why fliers benefit from using FlyCheap.com and how the process works.
